Our Story

Founded by Anna Hernandez in 1994, Luna Textiles’ story begins with Anna’s drive to fill a colorful and whimsical gap in the commercial textile industry. Luna’s very first collection launched in 1995 and won a Best of NeoCon Silver award — starting an early, but common theme of producing award winning textile design and proving that Anna’s method for a design-centric business was going to work.

From the beginning, Luna’s designs were inspired by fashion, art, and architecture. Often working in collaboration with other designers and artists, Luna established a name in the industry as a go-to for bold pattern and great color.

Anna’s passion and drive allowed Luna Textiles to rise as a leader in the commercial textile industry.

Over the years, Luna has changed and evolved, but the core principles that Anna established guide us to this day — from being inspired by fashion, art, and architecture, to embracing an entrepreneurial spirit, encouraging new collaborations, and maintaining a love and passion for this industry.

Luna continues to produce high-quality textiles, with a focus on strong colors and beautiful patterns. While some of Anna’s early, timeless patterns remain in our line-up, we’ve introduced many new and inspiring textiles. Offering a range of options for upholstery, panel, drapery, and wallcovering needs that work for commercial, hospitality, institutional, and residential spaces.

While our team has changed and grown, we maintain a small family feel — just like Anna intended.
